Data sources and integration matrix

Every piece of information on Proffi has a known source. Below you can see all integrations with classification, licence, update frequency and legal status. A source is not used until technical access, permitted use, permitted storage and permitted public display all have a green light.

We never scrape websites. Our priority is official API, official dataset, official event stream, licensed provider, manually verified company information – otherwise only a link to the original source.

Calculated figures are labelled “Calculated by us” with formula and inputs. Information from the company itself is labelled “Provided by the company”. Register values cannot be overwritten.

Data requiring a separate agreement

Beneficial owners, registered encumbrances, the land register, credit information and payment remarks require a legal basis, an agreement and a documented basis for processing. We do not show such fields until this has been clarified in writing, and we never guess ownership from roles.

Errors in the data?

Public register values are corrected at the source. Companies can add their own information and submit a note if they believe the register is wrong.
